Ability to edit Requirements Baseline Blueprint

We use the Requirements Baseline functionality, but the template (blueprint) it uses doesn't work for us. The blueprint doesn't appear in global blueprints/templates, so we can't seem to edit it.

It would be great if we could edit the template to better suit our needs. Thanks.

You were correct. I had to make several changes so the Baseline Blueprint could be edited. It is published in 1.7.0. I hope it will fully work according to your expectations.

I was actually going to ask to re-open this one as well. As with Nancy above, I don't see the baseline template or blueprint. It's not the Product Requirements Document (PRD), it's the one that is created when you make a baseline. We have our own look and feel we'd like to incorporate. I'll attach a screenshot of how the page is created, assuming with a template that is not editable.

Example, the page (template) has fields Release Notes,
Upgrade Notes, Testing sections. It is the page that the RY Baseline macro is inserted in.

Our workaround at the moment is to have users search for requirements, create the baseline, save the page (on the template we don't really like), have them cut & paste the RY Baseline macro into a new document created with our own template, then delete the other one that is created by RY. It's not a great workaround.

Hope this helps explain what I was asking earlier. Thanks!

Hi, I don't see the baseline blueprint either. Is there a way that we can add it? Thanks.

I'll assume this is resolved. Of course, feel free to keep commenting on the issue if you have any further question.

Hi Lara,

I admit I have missed the notification about this ticket. It's a space-level blueprint. To customize it:

  • Open the "Create" dialog,

  • Click "Add or customise templates for the selected space"

  • You'll see the templates under "Requirement Yogi - Blueprints"

You'll have to do those modifications for each space where you want to use the blueprint. At any time you can revert to the original template.

Best regards,
