Support for Easy Drop Down add-on
We have functional requirements captured in the Jira Agile project as Jira issues imported from the JAMA tool. So as we use confluence for writing our product requirements document, we need to link/dependency with functional requirements from Confluence while writing product requirements. Menas each product requirement will be linked with one or more functional requirements captured in the Jira project.
Using this approach, is it possible to build Requirement traceability matrix using requirements Yogi for confluence. We need to get the xls report on product requirement to functional requirement mapping/linked details for tracking purpose.
Also using the captured product requirements in the confluence requirement table, we will create the Jira development issues for implementation team to work and update the Jira issues status sprint on sprint.
Thanks Adrien for your prompt response.
Will report a bug on Easy Drop Down menu as per your feedback.
I look forward to get the changes available for "RY-140-Requirement Yogi Testing" changes in next immediate RY release, really helpful for us to use current RY license in our project.
I'm happy that you were able to test so fast! Thank you. The rendering of the Easy Drop Down macro in PDFs seems to be independent from RY. You probably just need to tell them. It's possible, when programming the rendering a macro, to use the "ConversionContext" to know whether we're rendering for PDF, in which case they would just have to show the value instead of the drop-down. They probably just didn't think about it and would happy that you report the bug.
Attaching the screen shot where I am able to see the Easy Drop down fields/columns values correctly as part my confluence page.
I just verified the RY bluepring by adding Easy Drop Down menu column values to the requirement table by using the latest RY plug-in update.
Values choosen in Easy Drop Down menu field/column i,e Impacted Components and Deprecated(Yes/No) are getting updated correctly as attached in my screen shot as part my confluence page.
But when I export my page into PDF or word document - Impacted Components and Deprecated(Yes/No) column/drop down menu values are not getting reflected in the exported documents - please refer the PDF and doc attachments shared with this.
Please let me know what is the issue in using requirementyogi-blueprint. Thanks.
Adrien - Thanks for notifying the changes requested availability in latest RY version released.
